Wool milling and pickling with pupils of the Gymnasium

The pupils went for a walk with Miša Casková and collected weeds and loaded them together with woolen yarn into jars. In a few weeks, under the sunlight, the wool will turn color with this ancient technique. How rich the final hue will be also depends on the weather. Then comes the washing, rinsing, hanging, drying, winding. All this happens during the show. The pupils will be able to take a piece of this colour palette of Zlin home after the exhibition.

The Comunite Fresca group, together with painter Kryštof Netolický, guided the pupils through a fresco and mural painting workshop. Together with the pupils they prepared sketches, a wall and paints for painting. They then created a collaborative fresco so that it interacted well with the other works in the exhibition and did not overwhelm the others.
