EXHIBITION IN ITS OWN FIELD / Jakub Tajovský /CZ/ - WORKSHOP, MEETING WITH THE AUTHOR

The exhibition In My Own Field is an experiment with painting and at the same time its open design. Painting is presented both as a process and as a final artefact.
At several sites in the exhibition, the matter of painting is gradually transformed from raw materials to metaphysical digital matter.
The main actor of the exhibition is "Malbot" - a robot replacing human hand gestures on large canvases.
The second in a series of happenings/performances invites visitors to engage in the process of painting and speculate on the limits of one's own field, authorship and imagination.

In the introduction, participants will be introduced to the concept of the exhibition. This will be followed by a short discussion on experimental research/design.

In the practical part, there will first be a "training" in the different phases of the exhibition process and then visitors will be invited to collaborate in the experiment by participating in the different stages of the presented painting process.

Duration of the event: 17.00 - 19.00.

Admission is free! Coffee will be provided.
